A pitching machine is used to pitch the ball. The machine “throws” the ball at around 40 mph.

- The players get 5 strikes

- Two players play at the pitcher position on opposite sides of the pitching machine wearing a helmet with faceguard (provided)

Coaches will need a copy of the Rookie Ball Manual and the Rotation Sheets

Rookie Ball is played two nights a week.  Those nights are Monday through Thursday.  Exact nights will be determined once the number of teams are deteremined.
