Game Play: Peewee is very similar to "regular" baseball with some rule modifications to accommodate age and experience. Each team fields 9 players per defensive innings with players occupying all positions as regular baseball including pitcher and catcher. The offensive team will have 3 outs per inning, the batter may advance on a hit ball, a walk, or a hit batter. A runner may advance on a hit ball or once the pitched ball crosses the plate.

The ball is thrown from a pitching rubber on a level diamond from a distance of 44' from the plate, the baselines are 65' and there will be two umpires per game. A half inning is over when the offensive team is put out three times, or score five runs.

The rules are generally the same as regular baseball, however any variations in the rules are meant to make the game move more smoothly and more equitable due to the skill level differences of the players.

* balks will be acknowledged by the umpire but incur no penalty;
* there are no lead offs;
* over thrown balls are awarded only one base;
* pitchers and catchers have inning limitations; and
* Mandatory position rotations.
